General conditions for visiting the Lepiland butterfly house

1. Preliminary provisions
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between

LepiLand, s. r. o., ICO 55824161, Vajnorská 98A, 831 04 Bratislava - Nové Mesto, Slovakia

and customers when visiting LepiLand butterfly houses, unless otherwise agreed in a specific case.

2. Definitions
Lepiland is a butterfly house operator and butterfly house visit service provider for customers. Companies operating under the Lepiland brand in a specific operation are listed at www.lepiland.sk.


The Butterfly House is a unique interior space simulating the natural conditions for the healthy life of the exotic butterflies living here and the development of butterfly pupae, which are carefully cared for.

3. The contract and its origin
The parties to the contract are Lepiland and the customer who purchased a ticket or voucher from Lepiland to visit the butterfly house.
Lepiland is committed to allowing the customer to visit and get to know the unique concept of the butterfly house. The customer undertakes to pay the agreed price for visiting the butterfly house.
The contract is concluded
– by paying the ticket price at the Lepiland ticket office before entering the building;
– by means of a web interface located on the website available at the internet address www.lepiland.sk ('the online shop') at the time of payment of the full price by credit card.
If the contract is concluded online, the customer will receive a voucher for a visit to the butterfly house with a validity period of up to six months.
In the event of concluding a contract at the box office, the customer will receive a ticket to the butterfly house, which is valid on the day of purchase.

The contract includes: (i) proof of payment of the price, (ii) an offer for www.lepiland-bratislava.com or in other promotional materials, and (iii) these General Terms and Conditions, if received by the customer or if the customer became acquainted with them before entering into the contract.


4. Price of services and payment terms
The price of services in EUR is listed on the www.lepiland.sk or in an individual Lepiland facility.
In the case of payment by credit card, the final price of the services, including VAT, any discounts or surcharges, will be displayed to the customer during the online booking process before the contract is concluded.
All information placed on the www.Lepiland.sk is for informational purposes only and Lepiland reserves the right to make any changes thereto.
Any discounts cannot be combined with each other, the contracting parties do not agree otherwise.


5. Cancellation policy
In the case of purchasing a ticket at the Lepiland box office, the customer is not entitled to withdraw from the contract before the start of the provision of services by Lepiland.
In the case of purchasing a voucher online, the customer can withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days without giving a reason. Together with the information about the withdrawal, he is obliged to return the voucher.
If the customer does not want or does not use the voucher purchased online, they can request Lepiland to extend the validity of the voucher or to refund the funds paid for info@lepiland.sk within one month of the expiry of the voucher. In this case, he is obliged to return the voucher containing the QR code to Lepiland.
The funds will be returned to the customer to the account specified in the notice of withdrawal. If the bank account is not specified, the funds will be transferred to the bank account from which Lepiland received the payment for the ticket or voucher price.
If it is not possible to use the purchased voucher due to the public closure of the establishment, the validity of the voucher is automatically extended by six months. The provision from the previous sentence does not apply in the event of a planned closure of operations (e.g. due to reconstruction, off-season break, etc.) if the date of the planned closure is published on the www.lepiland-bratislava.com at the time of closing the purchase.


6. Customer's obligations
The customer is obliged to follow the instructions of the Lepiland representative during the entire time of the visit to the butterfly house, in particular by his behavior and actions, he must not intentionally cause any harm to the health or life of the butterflies present, damage the plants or other parts of the interior, etc.
The customer is obliged to behave with respect to other visitors, in particular not to be noisy or in any other way disturb other visitors, not to arbitrarily reserve a larger area of the flight zone than is strictly necessary for a normal tour (e.g. not to restrict the movement of other people for the purpose of taking photos, etc.).
It is forbidden to bring food and drinks into the flight zone.
Dogs and other pets are not allowed in Lepiland.


7. Complaints procedure
If the service provided has defects, the customer is obliged to complain (complain) to the provider without undue delay, preferably immediately during or immediately after the visit to the butterfly house at the ticket office, or by e-mail to the info@lepiland.sk. The customer is always obliged to state what he sees as the shortcomings of the services provided and what compensation he requires.
The Provider is obliged to confirm the receipt of the complaint to the Customer in writing. The Provider will decide on the legitimacy of the complaint and on the Customer's claims from the received complaint immediately, in more complex cases within 3 working days, but no later than within 30 days, and will send its decision to the Customer's contact email or address specified in the complaint protocol.


8. Personal data protection
The customer is aware that Lepiland is entitled to process his personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations, in particular: name, surname, email address and payment card data.
The above provisions shall apply mutatis mutandis to the persons for whose benefit the customer has concluded the contract.
The customer acknowledges that as a data subject, he has the following rights in particular:

- request access to your personal data;
- request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- request the deletion of personal data;
- request the restriction of the processing of your personal data;
- object to the processing of personal data;
- file a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection, Hraničná 12
820 07 Bratislava 27 Slovak Republic.


9. Final provisions
Other matters not regulated by these General Terms and Conditions are governed by Czech law, in particular the relevant provisions of law.The customer is entitled to resolve any disputes arising from the contract out of court through the SLOVAK TRADE INSPECTION, www.soi.sk.
To resolve the dispute that has arisen, the customer can use the online dispute resolution platform. For more detailed information on the conditions for online dispute resolution, see https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
The law applicable to any disputes is Czech law and the courts of the Slovak Republic have jurisdiction.
